Day 4

Today we went shopping! We went to the DFO for a bit of a browse. I bought a skirt and a jacket. And a powerade.....

Monday nights there are only a limited amount of shows on so we decided we'd go out for a nice dinner. So we got all dressed up and walked down to Southbank to see what was on offer.

We found a restaurant and ordered our food, and Meagan ordered a bottle of wine. (Just for her)

Meagan drank that entire bottle of wine. (By herself)

We then headed back to Town Hall to meet up with the lovely Erika. (Meagan stumbling on every third step)

We went upstairs to the bar and ordered some drinks. ( And me and Erika got chatted up by the Bartender AND JEFF GREEN!!! (Totally awesome, hilarious comedian))

We sat and drank and talked for a bit and decided we'd head up to the Exford for the After Party. So i downed what was left of my drink....and meagan attempted to do the same.... then all of a sudden she said " I need the bathroom" and jumped up quickly. Erika, being the nurse that she is, grabbed her and took her straight to the bathroom WHERE SHE THREW UP!!!!!!!!!

After Erika cleaned Meagan up (hehehe), we headed to The Exford. We got there a little early so we managed to actually get seats which was good. There were heaps of different acts, i can't remember any of there names but they were all hilarious. And Bec made an arse of herself when perving on one of the guys that was on stage... He was singing a song about flirting and being sexy and after he said some sexy line shes gone 'ooohhh'....Unfortunately for Bec there was a moment of silence in the room at the exact moment she made that noise, so heaps of people heard (including the guy on stage) and we all laughed at her.

In amongst all this, Meagan managed to fall asleep on the table for a bit.

It was quite a funny night and it was entirely FREE.


Oh and when we were heading out of the hotel sometime during the day we bumped into a comedian called Daniel Townes. (Whom Bec has the hots for). And she nearly died when she saw him. She nudged me and gestured towards him with her head. I said 'yes thats him'. And he said 'how ya goin?'. I think she frightened him. He looked quite scared. She looked like one of those freaky fan girls. Add to that the fact that she was staying in the same building as him, i'd be scared too.

On the way home Meagan and Bec decided they needed to steal a Josh Thomas poster. (Meagans boyfriend... oOoOoOooooh!)
