We didn't get out of bed til after lunchtime. Even then we just bummed around some more.
Tonight we saw The Great Debate (watch it on tele, we were in the second row, we are SO gonna be on television!)
Corrine Grant Hosted. The topic was "Money is the root of all evil".
Arguing for the Affirmative team were Paul McDermott, Arj Barker and Steven K Amos.
Arguing for the Negative team were Rich Hall, Janeane Garofolo and Jason Byrne.
There was burning currency, money raining from the ceiling, a whiteboard with incomprehensible writing on it, a human tree, a naked man (incidently it was the same naked man we saw on friday night), fake peninses with vcuum cleaners attached to the end, a camel (no seriously, a REAL camel), and a song and dance from Mr McDermott.
Paul's team won. Yay!
We are now off to see Ali McGregor's Late-Nite Variety Nite Night again...not sure whos on tonight, will post again later..
